How to Prevent Acne Before it Hits

Acne is caused by overactive skin oil glands in our teen years. The pores of these glands in our skin get clogged resulting in a pimple. It is like a hot bottle with a cork shoved in the top.

Cleaning your skin twice a day will prevent acne. When you clean your skin it gets all the dirt and grim out of our skins pores. By keeping your skin clean, it's able to keep the cork out of the hot bottle stopping pimples.

You want to keep insulin levels down. By this I mean keep away from all the sugary and processed foods. Eat fruits and vegetables instead in the whole food form which is not processing them. They contain different types of sugar and they will not raise your insulin levels as fast. You are able to eat more of them also.

Make sure you clean your skin after exercising. When you exercise you sweat a lot causing these pores to get blocked because sweat combined with your skin oils can trap dirt causing these pores to get blocked. Make sure you wash your hair everyday, this contributes also.

Keep from touching your face and try to keep your hair from touching your face. Dirt and grim from these surfaces can get into your skin pores clogging them.

Practicing good hygiene by cleaning yourself everyday or even twice a day will reduce the chance of getting acne. Changing your diet to keep away from all the sugar in foods will prevent acne but it will also decrease the chance of a lot of diseases also. Keep doing acne treatments once you stat even if the acne goes away because many of them can be used to prevent acne also.
